GOD IS CALLING OUT OF THIS WORLD A PEOPLE FOR HIS NAME.
Acts 15:14 "Simon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for His name."
JAMES AND PETER STATE THE PLAN OF GOD FOR TODAY.
GOD TODAY IS VISITING THE GENTILES TO TAKE OUT OF THEM A PEOPLE FOR HIS NAME.
THE WORD OF GOD IS TO GO OUT, INTO THE WORLD, BECAUSE GOD, IS CALLING OUT A PEOPLE TO HIMSELF.
THE WORD OF GOD GOES OUT AND THOSE WHO HEAR, NOT EVERYONE WHO HEARS BELIEVES, BUT THOSE WHO DO HEAR, GOD CALLS TO HIMSELF.
GOD TODAY IS CALLING INDIVIDUALS TO HIMSELF.
THOSE WHOM HE CALLS BECOME A PART OF HIS CHURCH, THE BODY OF BELIEVERS.
THE DAY IS COMING WHEN GOD WILL REMOVE HIS CHURCH FROM THE WORLD. THIS WE CALL THE RAPTURE.
THE RAPTURE IS THE NEXT EVENT ON THE AGENDA OF GOD.
1 Peter 2:9-10 "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praise of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy."
WE ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY.
THIS IS ONE GIFT THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS OUT ON.
GOD IS DOING A NEW THING TODAY HE IS CALLING OUT PEOPLE TO HIS NAME AND HE IS EXTENDING MERCY TO THEM.
Acts 15:17 "That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things."
AFTER THE TRUE CHURCH - BODY OF CHRIST - LEAVES THIS WORLD THERE WILL BE A GREAT TURNING TO GOD.
THESE ARE THE ONES WHO WILL ENTER THE KINGDOM -
"That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles upon whom my name is called."
GOD IS FOLLOWING A VERY DEFINITE PROGRAM.
Romans 9:16 "So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy."
GOD'S MERCY IS NOT EXTENDED AS A RECOGNITION OF HUMAN WILL.
NOR IS IT A REWARD OF HUMAN WORK.
HUMAN - WILLING AND HUMAN - WORKING ARE NOT MOTIVATING CAUSES OF GOD'S ACTIONS.
MAN THINKS THAT HIS DECISION AND EFFORT CAUSES GOD TO LOOK WITH FAVOUR UPON HIM.
GOD EXTENDS MERCY AND HE DOES IT BECAUSE HE IS GOD.
Romans 9:30 "What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith."
GENTILES WITHOUT WILLING OR WORKING FOUND RIGHTEOUSNESS IN CHRIST BECAUSE
GOD WILLED AND GOD WORKED IT.
THE OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES HAD PROPHESIED IT.
GENTILES WERE TO BE SAVED.
Romans 9:31 "But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness."
IN OTHER WORDS, ISRAEL, PURSUING AFTER A LAW WHICH SHOULD GIVE RIGHTEOUSNESS, DID NOT ARRIVE AT SUCH A LAW.
THIS IS A TERRIFYING STATEMENT.
THE JEWS TRIED TO PRODUCE A RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THEIR OWN THROUGH THE MOSAIC SYSTEM.
THEY DID NOT PRODUCE IT.
YOU ONLY NEED TO LOOK AT THAT NATION TODAY.
RELIGIOUS PEOPLE ARE THE MOST DIFFICULT PEOPLE TO REACH WITH THE GOSPEL OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.
MANY CHURCH MEMBERS BELIEVE THEY ARE GOOD ENOUGH AND DO NOT NEED TO BE SAVED.
EACH PERSON IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN SALVATION.
NO MAN CAN RECONCILE ELECTION AND FREE WILL.
GOD IS SOVEREIGN.
HE DOES ACCORDING TO HIS WILL AND
HIS WILL IS ALWAYS RIGHT.
Mark 8:34 "And when He had called the people unto Him with His disciples also, He said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."
John 6:37 "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out"
GOD SAVES ALL THOSE WHO SIMPLY COME TO HIM IN TRUTH. HE SAVES US ACCORDING TO HIS OWN WILL.
GOD IS SO GOOD.
THERE IS NO UNRIGHTEOUSNESS WITH HIM.
GOD ALWAYS DOES WHAT IS RIGHT.
Do you believe that God is good?
THE JEWS STUMBLED AND TO THE GENTILES THE CROSS IS FOOLISHNESS.
THE ONE WHO BELIEVES, EITHER JEW OR GENTILE, WILL BE SAVED.
THE HUMBLE MIND WILL COME IN SIMPLE FAITH.
THE NATURAL MAN - in the flesh - WILL TRY TO PRODUCE SALVATION BY SOME NATURAL PROCESS.
TODAY ISRAEL IS LOST AND THE GENTILES ARE LOST.
CHRIST JESUS IS THE END OF THE LAW OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.
THE APOSTLE PAUL LONGED FOR ISRAEL TO BE SAVED.
Romans 10:1 "Brethren, my hearts desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved."
Luke 19:43-44 "For the days shall come upon thee, and thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee around, and keep thee in on every side.
And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation."
ISRAEL TODAY IS SURROUNDED BY NATIONS THAT WANT TO PUSH THEM INTO THE SEA.
TODAY YOU CAN BLAME THE ARABS OR THE RUSSIANS BUT GOD GIVES THE REASON WHY THEY ARE IN SUCH A STATE - UNABLE TO HAVE PEACE - "THEY DID NOT RECOGNIZE THEIR TIME OF VISITATION."
THERE ARE 3 GREAT FEATURES IN THIS STATEMENT.
1) ISRAEL WAS NOT SAVED.
WE CAN BE VERY RELIGIOUS AND YET LOST.
ISRAEL HAD A GOD GIVEN RELIGION BUT THEY NEEDED TO BE SAVED.
THEY HAD RELIGION BUT THEY DID NOT HAVE RIGHTEOUSNESS.
THEY HAD MORE THAN ANY OTHER NATION, BUT THEY WERE LOST.
THE APOSTLE PAUL'S DESIRE WAS FOR THEM TO BE SAVED.
2) ISRAEL WAS SAVABLE - Paul would not have prayed had they been reprobate.
3) THEY ARE ON THE SAME PLANE BEFORE GOD AS AS GENTILES ARE TODAY.
THEY SHOULD BE EVANGELIZED AS ANY OTHER PEOPLE WITHOUT CHRIST.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
THE IDEA OF A SUPERIOR RACE OR AN INFERIOR RACE IS SIMPLY RIDICULOUS.
THE GROUND AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS IS LEVEL.
ANYONE WITHOUT CHRIST IS A HELL DOOMED SINNER.
GOD IS PREPARED TO SHOW MERCY.
THE QUESTION IS,
HAVE YOU ACCEPTED THE RIGHTEOUSNESS THAT GOD OFFERS TO YOU IN CHRIST JESUS?
THERE IS NO OTHER BASIS ON WHICH YOU CAN BE SAVED.
YOU HAVE TO BE PERFECT TO GO TO HEAVEN.
AND THE ONLY PERFECTION THAT YOU AND I CAN EVER HAVE IS THE PERFECTION OF CHRIST JESUS.
WAS DELIVERED FOR MY OFFENCES AND HE WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD FOR MY JUSTIFICATION AND THEREFORE
HE IS MY RIGHTEOUSNESS.
HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS HAS BEEN IMPUTED TO ME ON THE DAY THAT I ACCEPTED HIM TO BE MY SAVIOUR.
THE DAY HE WIPED OUT ALL MY TRANSGRESSIONS.
THE DAY ALL MY INIQUITIES WERE LAID UPON HIM.
I WILL GO TO HEAVEN SOME DAY SOON BECAUSE OF HIM.
HE TOOK MY PLACE ON THE CROSS OF CALVARY.
Is the Lord Jesus Christ your Saviour today?
DO NOT TRUST YOUR CHURCH MEMBERSHIP FOR YOUR SALVATION.
MOST CHURCHES ARE AS DEAD AS A DODO BIRD.
CHURCHES TODAY ARE TEACHING "A NICE WAY OF LIFE." "HOW TO" BE "A BETTER PERSON."
IT IS SO SUBTLE BUT BE CAREFUL AND ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO OPEN YOUR EYES TO THE "HOW TO" METHOD THAT IS BEING USED TODAY. "HOW TO" LIVE THE CHRISTIAN LIFE IN YOUR OWN STRENGTH.
Romans 10:3 "For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, AND GOING ABOUT TO ESTABLISH THEIR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God."
DEAR READER THE ONLY WAY TO LIVE THE CHRISTIAN LIFE IS IN CHRIST JESUS.
AND THE ONLY WAY TO DO THAT IS TO YIELD TO HIM.
HE HAS TO BE IN YOUR HEART AND HE HAS TO LIVE HIS LIFE IN YOU AND THROUGH YOU.
THAT IS WHAT HE IS DOING TODAY.
HE IS CALLING OUT A PEOPLE TO HIS NAME.
PEOPLE WHO ARE WILLING TO YIELD TO HIM.
PREDESTINATION DOES NOT EVER HAVE ANY REFERENCE TO THE LOST.
NO ONE IS EVER ELECTED TO BE LOST.
PREDESTINATION MEANS THAT WHEN GOD SAVES YOU HE IS GOING TO SEE YOU THROUGH.
WHOM HE FOREKNEW, HE PREDESTINATED, AND WHOM HE PREDESTINATED, HE CALLED, AND WHOM HE CALLED, HE JUSTIFIED, AND WHOM HE JUSTIFIED, HE GLORIFIED.
MAN HAS NO PART IN IT.
IT IS ALL GOD'S OWN WORK.
THIS AMAZING SECTION IS ON SANCTIFICATION.
SANCTIFICATION, IS THE WORK OF GOD,
IN THE HEART AND LIFE OF THE BELIEVER.
THIS IS GOD'S ETERNAL PURPOSE.
THIS MEANS THAT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST WHO IS THE GREAT SHEPHERD, OF THE SHEEP, STARTS OUT WITH 100 SHEEP, AND HE IS GOING TO COME HOME WITH 100 SHEEP.
THE LORD JESUS WILL NOT LOSE A SINGLE ONE OF HIS SHEEP.
WHEN HE JUSTIFIES 100 SHEEP THEN HE IS GOING TO GLORIFY 100 SHEEP.
THIS IS A MOST WONDERFUL DOCTRINE.
IT MEANS THAT - if we are in Christ Jesus - WE CAN TRULY REST IN HIM ALL THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES.
THIS IS THE MOST COMFORTING DOCTRINE THAT WE HAVE IN THESE UNCERTAIN DAYS IN WHICH WE LIVE.
Romans 8:31 "If God be for us, who can be against us?"
IF WE ARE ON GOD'S SIDE THEN NO ONE CAN EVER BRING ANY CHARGE AGAINST US.
GOD'S ELECT ARE JUSTIFIED SINNERS.
GOD HAS PLACED HIS THRONE BEHIND THEM.
CHRIST HAS REMOVED ALL CONDEMNATION AND THE BELIEVER IS SECURE IN HIM.
1) He was delivered for our offences.
2) He was raised from the dead for our justification.
3) He is at the right hand of God right now.
DO YOU NEED ANYTHING THEN GO TO HIM EVEN NOW.
4) He maketh intercession for us.
THIS FOURFOLD WORK OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE REASON WHY NO ONE CAN EVER LAY ANY CHARGE AGAINST GOD'S ELECT.
Romans 8:36-37 "As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us."
HOW CAN SHEEP FOR THE SLAUGHTER BE MORE THAN CONQUERORS?
THIS IS ANOTHER WONDERFUL PARADOX OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH.
TO BE A CONQUEROR MEANS TO HAVE ASSISTANCE FROM ANOTHER.
CHRIST GAINS THE VICTORY FOR US.
HE IS THE ONE WHO NEVER ALLOWS US TO BE DEFEATED.
THE VICTORY YOU SEE BELONGS TO CHRIST; NOT TO US.
THE VICTORIOUS LIFE IS NOT OUR LIFE IT IS HIS LIFE.
SALVATION IS A LOVE STORY.
WE LOVE CHRIST BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVED US.
DO YOU LOVE CHRIST JESUS TODAY?
ARE YOU SECURE IN CHRIST JESUS?
HAS HE WASHED ALL YOUR SINS AWAY?
IF HE HAS THEN THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION TO YOU.
YOU ARE SAFE AND SECURE IN CHRIST JESUS.
YOU CAN BE VERY SURE, WHEN YOU ARE IN CHRIST JESUS THAT ALL THINGS CONCERNING YOUR LIFE WILL ULTIMATELY WORK TOGETHER FOR YOUR GOOD ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.
THERE IS JUST NO WAY POSSIBLE TO IMPROVE ON THIS.
Please will you make a decision to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour?
